Job Description

Warehouse - Weston Ohio$18.50/hr Paid weeklyMonday - Thursday6 am - 4 pm
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all documented procedures and work instructions for warehouse operations and specific tasks.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, promoting safe work practices on every shift.
  • Keep the warehouse clean as safe while optimizing space utilization.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment with preventative maintenance practices.
  • Promote and enforce fork truck safety; collaborate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety practices.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Review and issue quality alerts as needed, monitor packaging materials and integrity, and ensure packaging standards are met.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including tasks like loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock, including unloading, labeling, and storing products.
  • Report any discrepancies in inventory or process to supervisors.
  • Review, track, and implement corrective actions for issues found during line audits, quality audits, and process audits.
  • Ensure 5S principles (Sort, Straighten, Sanitize, Standardize, Self-Discipline) are implemented and maintained in the warehouse.
  • Assist with problem-solving and addressing operational concerns during shift.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a warehouse worker.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and warehouse management systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Possess computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel, and SAP Systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and stack pallets up to 6 feet high.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Forklift Certification
