Job Description

JOB TITLE:Plumbing Maintenance Technician        Location:Kansas City Metro Area  Schedule:Mon- Fri 8:30-5:00     Hourly Pay:$25 Term:Temp-Hire     JOB DESCRIPTION  Role and Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and sewage systems.
  2. Respond to plumbing service calls such as clogged drains, leaking faucets, running toilets, and water pressure issues.
  3. Perform preventative plumbing maintenance to avoid future issues, including cleaning drains and checking water heaters.
  4. Install plumbing fixtures and systems as needed, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  5. Troubleshoot and repair broken or faulty plumbing systems, including underground piping and connections.
  Qualifications and Education Requirements
  1. Basic set of hand and electric tools
  2. Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  3. Comfortably utilizing a smart phone
  4. Pass a background check and drug screen
  5. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  6. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  9. Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.
   Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  1. Comfortability with climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and entering attics or crawl spaces.
  2. Working in various weather conditions
  3. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
