Large Distribution Warehouse in Sanford is looking for an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper.
Pay: $20-24/hr
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Duties:
Accounts Payable/Receivables
General Ledger - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Be familiar with all Taxes
Collections, identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments. Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts, notifying customers of insufficient payments
Spreadsheets - Monthly accounting reports
Invoicing to and from vendors/suppliers
Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting. - Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a similar role - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
