Job Description

 JOB TITLE:Mill Operator         Location:Independence  Schedule:M-F 6AM-3:30PM     Hourly Pay:$17-20 Term:Temp-Hire     JOB DESCRIPTION  Role and Responsibilities
  1. Operating a roll former to produce metal roof and side panels.
  2. Checking and visually inspecting produced panels against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced.
  3. Installing panel dies during tooling change and adjusting to panel specifications.
  4. Entering production quantities for each order into computer system
  5. Operating a forklift/Combi Lift for positioning coils at un-coiler
  6. Utilizing a handheld scanner: pick/pack/inventory /production.
  7. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed
  Qualifications and Education Requirements
  1. Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  2. Ability to operate a forklift/Combi Lift.
  3. Ability to work independently and with others.
  4. High school diploma or GED
  Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  1. Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  2. Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift.
  3. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
  4. The noise level is moderate to loud.
