Job Description

JOB TITLE:General Maintenance Technician       Location:Kansas City Metro Area  Schedule:Mon- Fri 8:30-5:00     Hourly Pay:$23 Term:Temp-Hire     JOB DESCRIPTION  Role and Responsibilities
  1. Handle plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, and general property upkeep.
  2. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  3. Assist with property upgrades and renovations as needed.
  4. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  6. Work with vendors and contractors for larger projects or specialized repairs.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to tenants and property managers.
  8. Document all maintenance work and complete required reports.
  Qualifications and Education Requirements
  1. Basic set of hand and electric tools
  2. Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  3. Comfortably utilizing a smart phone
  4. Pass a background check and drug screen
  5. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  6. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  9. Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.
   Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  1. Comfortability with climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and entering attics or crawl spaces.
  2. Working in various weather conditions
  3. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
