No manufacturing experience is required, just a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Associate, you will be responsible for helping manufacture lightweight composite automotive components used by major automotive manufacturers. Daily responsibilities include:
Operate compression molding presses and production equipment
Load and unload molds safely and efficiently
Trim, deflash, and finish molded parts
Prepare parts for painting or finishing
Perform visual quality inspections to ensure product meets specifications
Complete production paperwork accurately
Report equipment, quality, or process concerns to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Use hand and power tools as needed
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Assist team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Ability to safely operate machinery after training
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 10 to 12-hour shift
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
Strong attention to detail and quality
Dependable attendance and positive attitude
Must be willing to work any shift, including overtime when needed
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting
Fast-paced manufacturing environment
Exposure to heat, noise, and production equipment
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
