FORKLIFT OPERATORPosition Type: Temp to HirePosition Location: Bowling Green, OHPosition Shift: 1st Shift: 5:30am -1:30pm, Monday-FridayPosition Salary: $19.00 Summary: Experienced forklift operator skilled in safely handling, moving, and staging heavy precast concrete products and raw materials in a fast-paced production environment. Ensures efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all material handling operations while supporting production schedules and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport precast concrete forms, rebar, molds, and finished products.
Inspect forklift and equipment daily to ensure proper operation and report any maintenance issues.
Assist with staging materials for production, storage, and outbound shipments.
Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure timely movement of products.
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols for heavy lifting, rigging, and load balance.
Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe and efficient plant operations.
Perform basic inventory checks and record material movements.
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating forklifts in an industrial or precast concrete environment preferred.
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
